For Beginners

I've written a handful of blog posts of interest to beginning photographers, more or less by accident. If, somehow, you are a beginner at photography and have nonetheless wound up here, these are the posts I think you should read:

This isn't anything like a complete education. I won't tell you how to use your camera, I won't tell you how to pep up your snaps, and I won't give you three simple rules for anything. I might help point you in a direction that will make you a better photographer, however.
